   The corner building housed a nonconforming-use grocery store, one of eight nonconforming corner groceries in the Bernal Hill neighborhood, with a 1970 expiration date. The City Planning Commission extended the expiration date of the nonconforming corner grocery store from 1970 to 1980, on condition that illegal and advertising signs be removed.
