    François Louis Alfred Pioche, whose 1867 subdivision with Robinson laid out much of Corbett Heights, kept a mansard-roofed house at 806 Stockton Street until his death in 1872. The alley behind it was renamed from Pioche Alley to Pagoda Place in 1909.
