A large house of 1904 facing Golden Gate Park across Fulton Street. A published guide to notable residences records Jefferson Airplane and Grace Slick as buying it in 1968 for around $70,000 and using it as home and workplace for about ten years.
Permit history
Thirteen permits, 1993–2020, two of them street-space filings omitted here. The record is dominated by one project: a $125,000 horizontal addition filed in July 1994, three months before the recorded sale, and not signed off until March 1996 — with a seismic bolt-and-sheathe job and a partition removal folded into it along the way. A second, far smaller addition was filed in 1997, renewed twice, and closed out only in 2001.
