   Built.

2. December 2, 1971

   The Geary-Presidio car barn and bus yard filled all of Block 1072 (235,950 square feet). On the Geary Boulevard frontage stood an old car barn used for Municipal Railway offices, a bus maintenance shop and storage of voting machines; the northerly part was an open storage yard for trolley coaches and motor buses.

3. March 23, 1972

   The City Planning Commission, by six votes to one, found the Public Utilities Commission's declaration of certain land and air space at the Geary-Presidio car barn and bus yard as surplus to be in conformity with the Master Plan. The City Planning Commission, by five votes to two, approved reclassifying the whole Geary-Presidio car barn and bus yard block from a P (public use) district to C-2.
