   A 28-foot setback line was legislated along the corner's Lombard Street frontage, in anticipation of rechannelling the street.

3. September 7, 1978

   The City Planning Commission unanimously refused to abolish the 28-foot setback line along the Quality Inn's Lombard Street frontage, which would have allowed a sign in it (Resolution 8057), and unanimously approved the City's purchase of a strip about four feet wide of that frontage to rechannel the Van Ness Avenue intersection.
