Contributor to the Ramona Street National Register eligible district (1840-1850 15th St). Criterion C: a 1911–1923 middle-class subdivision of 36 properties, almost all built with an integrated ground-floor garage (“auto basement”) — the survey calls this among the earliest known examples of the automobile built into residential design on a national scale, roughly a decade before the practice became common. Integrity is high. Contributor to the Mission Reconstruction District locally significant area (1840-1850 15th St). Criterion C: the survey's proposed district for the northern Mission's rebuilding after the 1906 earthquake and fire, period of significance May 1906–1913, predominantly Classical Revival, Edwardian and Mission Revival in wood frame construction. Contributor to the Inner Mission Commercial Corridor locally significant area (1840-1850 15th). Formerly called the 16th Street Commercial Corridor. Criterion C: San Francisco's largest concentration of residential-over-commercial and small-scale commercial buildings, spanning both pre-1906 and post-disaster construction, dated c. 1870s–1931.
