Designed by the San Francisco architect Albert Pissis for Levi Strauss & Co.: a heavy-timber frame, wood-clad, single-use industrial building of a kind rarely built in San Francisco after the earthquake, and possibly the only one of its size. The survey's own appendix dates the building 1907.
