The city prints two different street numbers for this landmark: the statement on early settlement era styles gives 1607 Green Street, while the statement on Victorian era styles gives 1067 Green Street. Both name San Francisco Landmark No. 36 and the same house. The nomination dates the house to 1857 or 1858; the assessor's 2025 roll gives 1900 for the building on this parcel. This house is also dated about 1859, on the ground that it is missing from a Coast Survey map whose survey was made in 1857.
