Chambord Apartments

1. 1921

   The Chambord Apartments, designed by James F. Dunn. Dunn died in 1921 before the building was finished; his former partner Albert Schroepfer completed it later that year.

2. 1922

   Built.

3. 1926

   A metal structure was added at roof level and one apartment's floor plan altered; the original single-unit plan was reinstated, with further additions, in 1950.

4. 1926

   Bought by Herbert E. Law — owner of the Monadnock Building and, from 1906, with his brother, of the Fairmont Hotel — who added the sixth-floor penthouse; his family lived in the building for many years.
