The statement's footnote calls this the site the Japanese Community and Cultural Center of Northern California now occupies; the text gives that centre's property as 1840 Sutter Street, and a third passage gives 1858 Sutter Street. It does not reconcile them. Not yet documented: the architect and builder, the early residents and the date of the last recorded sale. Submit an update
