1. 1952

   The Booker T. Washington Community Service Center built its own home here in 1952, its fourth address in thirty years; a mural by Bob Gayton was painted at the centre in 1977. The 1952 building was demolished and replaced by a larger mixed-use facility on the same site, where the centre continues to operate.
