    Opened as the “Surprise House,” a furnished model home that drew more than 6,000 visitors — the largest crowd the Rousseau brothers' firm ever had. The surprise was the top-storey patio courtyard; it also had a three-car garage, a triangular kitchen sink, and a dressing room opening straight from bedroom to bathroom.
