   The Marine Trust and Savings Bank, formerly the Renters' Loan and Trust Company, let its former banking quarters here to the Commercial Fire Dispatch Company, which meant to remodel the building as its headquarters because the spot was the exact centre of the city.

   The Automobile Association of California's Beaux Arts office building at 150 Van Ness Avenue, remodelled in 1959 and linked by skybridge to the association's new nine-storey building on Hayes Street.
