1. October 1912

   The first recorded permit for the lot, at the southeast corner of Ingerson Avenue and what was then Railroad Avenue (now Third Street), was for a redwood shed.

2. 1948

   The outdoor-advertising firm Foster Kleiser Co., then the owner, took a permit for a billboard on the lot.

3. August 10, 1959

   A permit was approved for the two-story medical office Dr. Arthur H. Coleman had applied for on May 18, 1959, designed by Hans G. Glass of Santa Clara and built by W.J. Nicholson Co., at an estimated cost of $95,000; it was first named San Francisco Medical Associates.

4. 1960

   A multi-specialty medical facility opened here in February 1960 on a parcel bought empty the year before, offering primary care, obstetrics and gynaecology, surgery, radiology, urology, dentistry and podiatry, and later ophthalmology, maternal health, laboratory and mental health services. It was renamed the Arthur H. Coleman Medical Center in 1983 for its founder, the first African American physician to practise in the Bayview.

5. February 28, 1960

   The clinic held a public grand opening as San Francisco Medical Associates, with tours of its x-ray room, dental suite, physical therapy room and pharmacy.

6. April 29, 1960

   The city issued the certificate of occupancy and final completion for the building.

7. 1961

   A neon sign reading "Wesley Johnson Pharmacy", made by Q.R.S. Neon Co., went up over the pharmacy entrance at the Third Street and Ingerson Avenue corner.

8. 1970–1979

   As state medical reimbursements fell in the 1970s the group's other doctors left, and Dr. Coleman again practised here as a solo general practitioner.

   The roof was replaced.

    The Bayview Hunters Point Clinic, run by the Marin City Health & Wellness Center, leased the building.
