The parcel at 1650 Davidson Avenue, about 320 feet of frontage and 107,160 square feet, was used for dismantling late-model vehicles and selling their parts; across the street, a State Division of Highways parcel was used for vehicle storage and partly sub-leased to an auto repair shop. The City Planning Commission unanimously approved, with eleven conditions, automobile wrecking in an open yard on the two Davidson Avenue parcels, including a fence of about 10 feet around the State-owned parcel.
