   Built.

2. 1930

   The Maltese Club of San Francisco opened its headquarters here under the directorship of Francis Grech; the crowd at the opening was so large that people had to be turned away. The club kept a Maltese band and a theatrical group that performed in Maltese, and did philanthropic work. Its enrolled membership passed 750 by 1935. The building, heavily altered, is now Saint Paul Tabernacle Baptist Church.
