Kitchen remodel: remove dry wall and flooring. insulate walls, replace walls, paint keeping existing appliances and cabinets. replace kitchen window (rear of house).

Remove free standing brick chimney. cap at top of crawl space. infill and structural to be done under separate permit. this permit is used for exploratory purpose to verify existing framing around chimney.

Replace top 2, front-facing top floor windows (1-over-1 wood double-hung with ogee lugs); new windows will also be wood with ogee lugs to match existing. u-factor 0.32 max.

Tear off existing roof shingles install gas shingles 3 sq pitch 4: 12.

Switch back door & window locations to each others space.

Strengthening of garage floor and seismic strengthening of exterior shear walls.

Replace 20% of deck wood/floor boards with stronger tongue and grove boards. replace 1 rotted support rafter under deck floor, plaint surface to match house color. (pressure treated or redwood).

Install 6 aluminum windows.
