Castro / Eureka Valley

The Castro — formally Eureka Valley — sits in central San Francisco, roughly bounded by Market Street to the northeast, the Douglass Street hillside to the west, 22nd Street to the south, and Church Street to the east. Its housing stock is heavily Victorian and Edwardian; in city data the neighborhood appears as "Castro/Upper Market."
