Listed as Tanforan Cottage #1 among the properties in the survey area listed in or formally determined eligible for the National Register and the California Register. With the Mission Dolores chapel and cemetery, the statement gives the Tanforan Cottages of the 1850s as the oldest buildings in the neighbourhood to survive the 1906 earthquake and fire.
