Duboce Triangle Historic Context Statement (2022)

StyleJacobethan / English Period Revival

One of only two Jacobethan buildings the statement finds in Duboce Triangle, and very unusual for the neighborhood — it reads much like the houses Strothoff was designing for clients in St. Francis Wood at the same time. The statement prints the address three ways: 2274 15th Street, 2272–2276 15th Street and 2272–2276 16th Street. One of the properties the statement puts forward as a potential city landmark candidate, a list it calls 37 properties in one passage and 38 in another and prints with 38 entries; it says further research will be required to confirm any of them. Christopher VerPlanck's context statement of 2022 surveyed 552 properties in Duboce Triangle for the Duboce Triangle Neighborhood Association.
