  3. October 7, 1971

    Apartment buildings stood on the lots, among them a sound, occupied apartment building with a large garden with statues and a fountain; in all the site held about 30 to 34 dwelling units. The City Planning Commission disapproved a conditional use for a 266-room hotel in two towers of 15 and 11 floors, which would have replaced about 34 dwelling units, finding no need for more hotel rooms.
