Flats building
-
April 4, 1974
The irregular lot (54.5 feet on Washington Street) was split by a zoning line: its R-3 part (2,246.8 square feet) held two dwelling units and a garage, and its C-2 part (1,517.9 square feet) held a dwelling. The City Planning Commission unanimously disapproved reclassifying the residential part of the lot from R-3 to C-2, which would have let its two dwelling units become offices.
