A small-scale brick masonry residential hotel built soon after the earthquake, three storeys, with arched first-storey windows under heavy moulded surrounds and keystones and a modillion cornice. An extremely rare example of its type because, unlike most residential hotels of its era, it has no commercial ground floor.
