302–308 Eddy Street

1. 1910

   Built as the Herald Hotel to the design of Alfred Henry Jacobs: seven storeys, 150 rooms and 97 baths, in a Renaissance Revival manner and framed in steel rather than the masonry bearing walls then usual. One of the tallest and largest hotels put up in the decade after 1906 in the downtown hotel district.
