    The building here was put up as a reinforced-concrete truck showroom to the design of Norman R. Coulter, its McAllister Street front a two-part vertical composition with a plain window wall.

    The building was sold to the Society of California Pioneers, having been let to a warehouse and moving concern before 1917, and was remodelled by the architect John H. Ahnden in a way that kept most of the original design.
