   The Atlas Heating and Ventilating Company contracted for the kitchen duct work of the Bohemian Club's earlier clubhouse on this corner, at $4,723.

5. 1912

   The Bohemian Club built its first purpose-designed clubhouse here, in the Italian Renaissance Revival style, after the 1906 earthquake. It was demolished in 1933.

   The club replaced its 1912 clubhouse on the same site, in a transitional Art Deco and Art Moderne style. Repeating owl heads and relief sculptures of men at the dramatic and artistic arts run across the street facades.
