1. 1935

   Recorded in the city's survey of the Van Ness Avenue automobile corridor as built for use as a tire and battery shop. Built for Kahn and Keville, who have sold Goodyear tires here — and at times batteries, radios and household appliances — since it was put up. Its wings embrace an outdoor space where cars could park and manoeuvre.
