    The Fillmore Auditorium, formerly the Majestic Ballroom, which the promoter Charles Sullivan booked through the postwar years. It was also the first address of Muhammad Mosque No. 26 and the mosque's home again by 1973. Identified in 2024 as eligible for local landmark, California Register or National Register designation.

    In December 1965 the Fillmore Auditorium's owner lent his dance hall permit for a benefit concert; the promoter who ran it took over the club the following year, making the Fillmore the best known San Francisco music venue of the counterculture era and the only one of the city's major halls still working as one.
