2130–2200 O'Farrell Street

1. 1964

   The eight-storey Kaiser outpatient services building was built — a physicians' building designed for 84 doctors, on land Kaiser had bought from the Redevelopment Agency in the Western Addition A-1 area. It is an example of the International style with metal-framed grid windows.

   The Kaiser parking garage here was completed.

   Kaiser traded land it owned on the north side of the Geary campus for the 2130 O'Farrell Street garage site, which had belonged to Sinai Memorial Chapel.

4. 1987-1988

   The City Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors approved an addition to the hospital's East Wing, a new North Wing and a new parking garage at 2190 O'Farrell Street.
