The statement dates it Ca. 1870 in its account of the neighborhood's early Victorian dwellings and Ca. 1875 in its landmark list. One of the properties the statement puts forward as a potential city landmark candidate, a list it calls 37 properties in one passage and 38 in another and prints with 38 entries; it says further research will be required to confirm any of them. Christopher VerPlanck's context statement of 2022 surveyed 552 properties in Duboce Triangle for the Duboce Triangle Neighborhood Association. Dates it gives as “Ca.” are its own estimates.
