2531 Larkin Street

1. 1877

   A small Italianate house still standing with high integrity. Its rectangular projecting bay is unusual for the decade, when nearly every San Francisco bay window was semi-octagonal; the cornice is molded on block modillions over a paneled frieze, and triangular pediments top the paired windows and the door.
