1. 1906

   St Joseph's has stood at the corner of Tenth and Howard since 1861. The present parish hall was built in 1906 after the earthquake and fire destroyed everything on the site, and served as a temporary church and school while the new church at 1401 Howard Street went up. It was listed on the National Register with St Joseph's Church in 1982. The hall was cleared for the building of 2020.

2. 1959

   The Children's Village Child Development Center was built in 1959 as an addition to St Joseph's parish hall: a single-storey L-plan concrete building with a concrete-block street front. It was cleared for the building of 2020.

3. 1961

   A community service and childcare building of 1961, later St Joseph's Family Center. With the 1959 building to the south it replaced a single school that had stood on the ground since at least the 1910s. It was cleared for the building of 2020.
