   Rehabilitated by the McDougall Brothers as the Oakwood Hotel. Research by San Francisco Heritage records that the Waldorf's terra cotta cornice was salvaged and the lobby reconstructed.

   The Oakwood was counted among the neighborhood's standard-condition residential hotels, with 74 units and five vacancies recorded.
