1. 1907

   Built as the Hotel Bellevue, stores and mid-priced hotel with 256 rooms, to the design of the architects and engineer S. H. Woodruff. Seven storeys over a basement, reinforced concrete structure, two-part vertical composition with roof, Renaissance/Baroque ornamentation.

2. July 9, 1910

   The Bellevue was being finished for opening on 1 August as an American-plan hotel of seven storeys and basement and 300 rooms, each with a bath, its whole 137-foot-square ground floor given to the lobby and dining rooms; the owners, the Barron estate, were to run it as the Bellevue Hotel Company.
