Built as the Vermont Marble Co. marble works, a gable-roofed corrugated-steel warehouse. It stands in the former Western Development Co. tract, a holding never subdivided even into blocks until spur tracks of the Southern Pacific reached it in the early 1920s and it was cut up around 1925 for manufacturing plants.
