Duboce Triangle Historic Context Statement (2022)

Likely the most highly developed example of the Mediterranean style in Duboce Triangle, and among the first buildings here designed with integral basement garages. Its comparatively sumptuous detailing suggests to the statement that it was built for well-paid medical staff at Franklin Hospital across the street; elsewhere it says outright that it was built as housing for the hospital's nurses, and dates the building 1924 in one passage and 1922 in another. Christopher VerPlanck's context statement of 2022 surveyed 552 properties in Duboce Triangle for the Duboce Triangle Neighborhood Association.
