1. 1916

   Recorded in the city's survey of the Van Ness Avenue automobile corridor as built for use as an auto showroom. The survey dates the work to 1916 and 1948. Built as the factory branch of Willys-Overland, one of only two makers in the corridor to open their own branch rather than work through a local dealer. Vehicles moved between floors by elevator rather than a ramp.
