Evaluated in the city's citywide survey of large apartment buildings as keeping its highly ornamental cornice, top-floor balcony, overall form, massing and central lightwell, but altered at the ground floor — storefronts introduced, the lightwell infilled, an entry marquee removed and the cladding possibly simplified — and so not rising to individual eligibility under Criterion C/3.
