Recorded in the city's survey of the Van Ness Avenue automobile corridor as built for use as an auto showroom. Designed by M. J. Lyon for a Buick dealership. Its opening was reported as the latest move of the city's leading dealers to the upper end of the avenue. Built for Buick sales; a Ford dealership has since moved back into the building.
