   The Cawston Ostrich Farm of South Pasadena leased this building, formerly the Swedish-American Bank's, for its San Francisco retail headquarters; it was to be remodelled for the showing and sale of ostrich plumes.

3. 1915

   The Cawston Ostrich Farm shop here carried an oversize wall sign in the shape of an ostrich feather, lit by dozens of coloured electric bulbs. The building stands, heavily altered, and the sign is gone.
